Chand spreads love this Valentine's Day with one hamper at a time

As couples, friends and families gear up to celebrate Valentine’s Day, small businesses like Blossom Gift Ideas Fj, are working behind the scenes to make the day extra special.

For 25-year-old entrepreneur from Navakai, Nadi, Jacinta Chand, this season is all about delivering love.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Chand says this Valentine’s season has been slower compared to previous years, but she expects a last-minute rush as the day gets closer.

She says she has received almost 20 orders so far and is confident that more will come in.

Chand says customised hampers are always in demand, with chocolates, flowers and personalised gifts being the most popular choices.

When asked what has changed compared to last year, she says she believes that the cost of items has gone up, but despite that, customers are still willing to go the extra mile to make their loved ones feel special.

Chand says her deliveries can be challenging, especially when orders come from remote areas or when traffic causes delays, but she makes sure to brighten their day.

She says running a business during peak seasons like Valentine’s Day, Diwali, and Christmas can be overwhelming, but she has learned to manage it over time.

She further says her business has grown steadily over the past three years, and she has been able to come up with new ideas for hampers.

She says she feels blessed to be part of people’s celebrations by delivering emotions through her hampers.

Her message to the couples in love is that this should not be celebrated just for one day but should be expressed every day.
