Sairusi Ceinaturaga, who murdered his one-year-old stepson in Cunningham last year has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
While sentencing, High Court Judge Justice Siainiu Fa’alogo Bull says Ceinaturaga will serve a minimum of 18 years before a pardon is considered.
Ceinaturaga is convicted of one count of murder, one count of assault causing actual bodily harm and one count of an act intended to cause grievous harm.

He hit the child with a cooking spoon, then struck the child’s head against a wall before throwing him onto a mattress.
He pleaded guilty to striking his defacto partner across the face.
