As we look forward to a new season of the HSBC SVNS World Series which kicks off next week, Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Osea Kolinisau will surely want to break Fiji’s losing streak in Dubai and help them claim their first Dubai 7s title since 2015, but this time as their head coach.

Kolinisau was the captain of that team in 2015.

He has selected a strong 13 member squad including 2 debutants for the first leg of the 2024/2025 Series.

The Fiji Men’s 7s squad left our shores yesterday as they wanted to get to Dubai and have the players acclimatised to the weather, 2 weeks prior to the tournament.

Fiji is in pool C alongside Spain, New Zealand and the USA.

Fiji will take on Spain at 6.06pm next Saturday in their first match, they will then take on the USA at 9.52pm next Saturday before they play NZ at 3.16am next Sunday in their final pool match.

The men’s cup quarter finals will kick off at 6.48pm next Sunday, the semi finals will start at 10.06pm next Sunday and the cup final will be at 4.11am Monday 2nd December.
