Businessman in custody after being allegedly found with meth in Nadi

A businessman is still in Police custody after being allegedly found with crystal-like substances believed to be methamphetamine and dried leaves believed to be marijuana yesterday.

The discovery was made in the man’s vehicle by officers from Fiji Detector Dog Unit along Sonaisali Road in Nadi.

A second search conducted at his home resulted in the discovery of more substances believed to be drugs.

Police also seized syringes containing clear liquid believed to be illicit substances.

Investigations continue.
