Ba Town.

The Ba Chamber of Commerce says a number of businesses have reduced working hours of their staff and they have gone into a double bubble strategy to ensure business continuity.

Secretary, Anil Amin says this is also extra cost for them as they have to pick and drop their staff and some staff also live far from the town.

He says only the food sector has been doing good so far however there is also a reduction in their sales because people have less money in their hands.

Amin says many people have also turned to agriculture to get some earnings from cash crops as they can see high supply of vegetables while the demand is low.

Amin says businesses are just managing.

Amin who is also playing a huge role in getting the business community and residents of Ba to get vaccinated for COVID-19 says they are working hard to be the first division to get the Ba people fully vaccinated.

He says Ba has a very good percentage for the first dose and they do not want to be behind in percentage for the second dose.
