A 29-year-old bus conductor who is charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs has been released on bail by Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.
Avinesh Chand was allegedly found with plastic bags containing methamphetamine.
Chand was arrested on Friday along Rewa Street by Police officers conducting beat patrol.
He was seen acting in a suspicious manner and upon searching, officers allegedly found the plastic bags containing methamphetamine.
The case will be called again on the 1st of September.
