Bus Services around the country are expected to cease from tomorrow morning after a decision made by the Fiji Bus Operators Association last hour.
Speaking to Fijivillage just moments ago, Fiji Bus Operators Association General Secretary Cheytanya Latchman confirmed that the decision has been made as the Association has rejected a proposal from the interim government to assist the operators.
Ministry of Transport's Media Officer Sainiana Waqainabete said the Interim Minister for Transport Timoci Natuva is in the process of initiating contingency plans as they are not taking the threat to cease bus services lightly.
Fijivillage has spoken to a number of Bus Company's who confirm that they will stop all services from tomorrow while Executives of other companies are currently meeting to decide.
