Minister for Youth and Sports Parveen Bala has reminded graduates from the Youth Training Centres in Naleba and Naqere in Vanua Levu that they should be role models as they are at the forefront of youth advocacy.

Bala says youths will support the development efforts being made to transform Fiji into a modern and dynamic society, involving everyone in the national development and leaving no one behind, under the FijiFirst Government.

He adds through the Ministry, the government will continue to roll out relevant training programs to meet the needs of the nation and the economy effectively.

The Minister says the training program fills a much-needed role in providing for training and education in sectors that are not found in formal education institutions.

He says the programs aims to fill in these gaps and be responsive to training needs, as pathways into jobs, but also to help youths become job creators.
