Interim Vodafone Flying Fijians coach Gareth Baber

Interim Vodafone Flying Fijians coach Gareth Baber is proud of how the Fijian team got themselves back in the game against Wales, however, the red card offence had put pressure on them.

The Flying Fijians displayed a magnificent array of rugby on Monday morning as they played with 14 men most of the time and twice with 13 men.

Baber says the players did not feel sorry for themselves and were not worried about what had happened in the game.

He says they felt that as a group this was a massive challenge for them but it was also an opportunity to prove to everybody back home how much it meant to them.

He adds he is proud of the players that they stayed by each other and kept moving forward.

This week, Fiji will meet Georgia at 2.30am Sunday.

In other Test matches, Scotland will face Japan at 1am Sunday, England will take on South Africa at 3.15am Sunday, the Wallabies face Wales at 5.30am Sunday, the All Blacks meet France at 8am Sunday and Ireland will play Argentina at 2.15am Monday.
