Fiji will not be too carried away by the fact that the New Zealand and Australian 7s teams have had game time prior to the Oceania 7s.

Speaking from Brisbane, Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Team Coach Gareth Baber says they will rely on the way they have trained and prepared.

Baber says Australia and New Zealand have been battle-hardened by playing against each other and know what the level will be like.

However Baber says they will not have had the exposure to how Fiji plays.

The national side will be in quarantine in Brisbane until the 18th of this month and play in the Oceania 7s from the 25th to the 27th of this month in Australia.
