Anyone found involved in drug activities in the Vanua of Suva will be forcefully removed.

This is the message from Tui Suva Ratu Sanaila Madanavosa when questioned by fijivillage News on what will be done to those who are found involved in drug activities in the Vanua of Suva. He says in all village meetings, drugs has been the main focus of the people.

He highlighted that villages have come to the conclusion that if any individual found to have access or possession of this illicit substance, they will apply force and remove them from their residence.

He says he does not want the youth to be influenced by this poison and strongly voiced the importance of raising the young people of our country the right way.

He adds drugs is destroying families, ruining the lives, and adding to the crimes in Fiji.

He says village officers are now tasked with the responsibility to watch-over and look after the safety of the people in the Vanua of Suva, and not to allow this issue to rise.

Ratu Sanaila says the individual found with drugs is given three chances.

He adds villages will act with force to uphold the village law.

He says that village officers have a online group for communication, and they are waiting for the village by laws from the government that will make all this possible.

The Tui Suva is grateful for the government in raising awareness on this matter and shared that action is needed by the government to look at the source of this challenge.
