Anonymous names being used to post information on the internet should be eliminated – Chief Justice Gates
Chief Justice Anthony Gates

Chief Justice Anthony Gates strongly suggests that anonymous names being used to post information on the internet should be eliminated, and he also believes that terrorist information and pornographic sites should also be removed.

While speaking during the World Consumer Rights Day celebration with the theme Building a Digital World Consumers Can Trust, Chief Justice Gates says serious discussion needs to take place on what is on the internet and how people should deal with it.

Chief Justice Gates also spoke about our right to privacy.

The Chief Justice says today’s discussions will focus on what can be done to secure our privacy and protect our monetary transactions.

He says at the moment, the internet can be said to be a wilder place than the seas plied by the Pirates of the Carribean.

Chief Justice Gates also spoke about the rise in fake news on social media where more rubbish continues to be put up on these platforms.
