Sanzaar - the governing body of the Super Rugby competition has announced that all games this weekend will continue as schedule despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Jaguares have already announced that their match against the Highlanders on Sunday will be held behind closed doors in Buenos Aires, but Sanzaar has taken the decision all other games will proceed as normal, with the gates open to fans.

Sanzaar CEO Andy Marinos said in a statement they would continue to monitor the spread of the virus and suspension is clearly an option if positive tests soar in New Zealand, Australia, Argentina or South Africa.

The Chiefs will face the Hurricanes at 6.05 tonight, the Blues will take on the Lions at 3.25pm tomorrow, the Crusaders will play the Sunwolves at 5.35pm tomorrow while the Reds will take on the Bulls at 8.15pm tomorrow.
