All Blacks Assistant Coach John Plumtree says he can handle a missed call by a referee in test rugby - but "a consistent habit" of missed calls is where he says he draws the line.

Plumtree feels they were hard done by in the first Bledisloe Cup Test by the referee.

He has asked the officials to keep a closer eye on the Wallabies.

Plumtree has insisted that the match officials let the Wallabies off the hook according to their video review of the match.

Despite that, Plumtree added the team haven't spoken to the referees about Sunday's officiating.

Australian referee Angus Gardner is officiating this Sunday's match at Eden Park.

Last year, the All Blacks rebounded from a 46-27 loss to the Wallabies in Perth to trounce them 36-0 at Eden Park and retain the Bledisloe Cup.

The All Blacks host the Wallabies at 3pm Sunday in the second Bledisloe Cup test.
