Blacks captain Sam Cane undergoes successful surgery
All Blacks captain Sam Cane has undergone successful surgery for the pectoral injury that's expected to see him sidelined for the next six months.
The 29-year-old went under the knife to repair the injury suffered against the Blues last month.
The Chiefs co-captain has been ruled out of the rest of Super Rugby and the All Blacks upcoming test campaign, which kicks off against Italy and Fiji in July.
This week, the Highlanders will take on the Blues at 7.05pm Friday while the Crusaders will face the Chiefs at 7.05pm Saturday.
