Many people are eagerly awaiting the release of the new hollywood movie, Emperor however this film is special for our country as an actor with links to Fiji is part of the cast with Tommy Lee Jones and Matthew Fox.
Auckland based actor, Aaron Jackson is one of the first with Fiji links to achieve this.
His connection to Fiji is very close as his father is from Savusavu.
Speaking to Fijivillage from NZ, Jackson said he has just returned from the world premier of "Emperor" in Canada.
He said he will never forget acting with Jones, Fox and others as this has also provided him with many more opportunities.
It was a memorable moment as Aaron Jackson reveals that he was star struck when he had to do the scene with Tommy Lee Jones in the movie.
Jackson said he is proud to be from Savusavu and he is happy that he is making Fiji and NZ proud.
Aaron Jackson said he continues to maintain his link to Fiji as he was in the country when his grandmother passed away in 2009.
Jackson has also appeared in one of the recent episodes of Spartacus and NZ movies Rage, Tangiwai and Existence.
Emperor which was partly shot in New Zealand, is set for general release next year.
