The Assemblies of God of Fiji will start a major project later this year in 10 miles, Nausori where the church will build its new convention center and is also expected to construct a shopping complex.

The Church has managed to get a 99 year lease of 22 acres of land in Koronivia where the project will take place.

General Secretary, Reverend Viliame Vakasausau says the construction of the convention center is expected to cost them between three to five million dollars.

He says they will also move their headquarters from Robertson road, Suva to the new site in 10 miles, Nausori once the construction is complete.
