A 9-year-old student is admitted in serious condition in hospital after she was allegedly raped in Nasinu earlier this week.
Fijivillage has been informed that she is in a bad condition and Police are finding some difficulties in getting information for investigations at this stage.
Police are trying to establish how many people allegedly raped the young girl in Nakasi on Tuesday afternoon.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Henry Brown says she was walking to her home after school when an unknown male committed the offence.
Immediately two teams were appointed tasked to investigate the matter.
ACP Brown says this is a serious matter and all efforts are being put in to ensure the perpetrator is arrested.
