One of Suva’s renowned Fish and Chips outlets, The Sunfryer Tasty Fish & Chix has opened their new branch at the Damodar Plaza Eatery which has created job opportunities for 8 people.
General Manager Teagen Fong says they had planned to open a new branch since last year.
Fong says initially during the COVID-19 lockdown period they had managed to retain all their staff at their Rewa Street Branch but they were on reduced hours.
She further says as the weeks went by they saw that their business was picking up.
Meanwhile, the $1.3 million Damodar Plaza Eatery has been opened.
The eatery has 4 outlets which includes The Sunfryer Fish & Chix, Ji’s Hand Pulled Noodle and features two new restaurants, Vaqa Vale Ni Kana and Vaqa Vakatiriweli.
The eatery is the latest addition to the Plaza.
