Eight rugby clubs from outside of Suva will be joining the Suva Rugby Union’s club competition next year.

Suva Rugby Manager Nemani Tuifaglele says this will be a boost for Suva Rugby in terms of their preparation for the 2021 Skipper Cup.

Suva Rugby Coach Sakaraia Labalaba says their main aim for next year is to retain the Skipper Cup title and lift the standard of their club competition.

Labalaba says the win this year is a testament of the good work the officials are doing during their club competition.

Suva won their third consecutive Skipper Cup title defeating Naitasiri 16-13.
