A five year old boy who is being looked after by his grandparents is waiting for his father to come back home who has been missing at sea since Thursday.
The 29 year old accompanied his two friends on a fishing trip on Thursday afternoon when their boat capsized near Toguru Beacon in Navua.
According to Police due to the bad weather and rough seas the boat capsized, and two fishermen managed to swim safely to shore while the 29 year old was last seen hanging on an icebox drifting toward Yanuca Island.
The missing person's mother, Abida Nisha said her youngest son who is sickly said he was tired staying home so he decided to accompany his friends for the trip.
Nisha who couldn't hold her emotions said the message was relayed to them on Thursday evening and that she is still praying for her son to return home safely.
She added that her son knows how to swim.
Meanwhile, Police are still looking for the 29 year old.
