A 59-year-old woman has drowned while the search continues for two young children after they were swept away by strong currents while fishing in the Korociri River this afternoon.
Police say the alleged incident occurred after 1 pm today.
The woman's body was recovered a few meters from where they were last seen.
Police say the search continues for the two children aged 8 and 7.
