A 58-year-old man has died in an accident after he was run over by a minivan at a supermarket carport in Wairabetia junction in Lautoka, yesterday.
Police say the man was taken to the hospital and was later pronounced dead.
In a video circulating on social media, people were seen rushing in to help lift the minivan as the man was trapped under the vehicle.
Police say investigations into this incident continue.
