5,000 marijuana plants found in Navosa raid

A farmer has been charged with one count of after 5,000 marijuana plants were found in his two farms in Navosa.

Police also found 30 bags of marijuana during the raid.

A subsequent search by Police also led to the discovery of more than $5,500 cash alleged to have been obtained from the sale of drugs.

Police have acknowledged the support of Korolevu and Namoli villagers in Navosa.

The 21-year-old man has been charged with one count of unlawful cultivation and two counts of found in possession of illicit drugs.
