Telecom Fiji CEO Charles Goundar says over 5000 homes in Suva, Nadi and Lautoka have access to their Fibre-To-The-Home technology, meaning they are ready to be connected to Telecom’s Fibre broadband service in these areas.

Goundar says the company has committed to invest $180million into Fibre infrastructure over the next 5 years.

He further says they are seeing an accelerating shift to digital connectivity, particularly during the global COVID19 pandemic.

Goundar adds Fijians are now adapting to a new way of life where internet is a crucial part of everyday activities.

Goundar also says they understand that their robust and future-proof Fibre infrastructure remains the foundation for improving quality of life for all Fijians.
