4 men to front Court for allegedly facilitating export of close to $1.5 million worth of cocaine to Australia

Four men will front the Nadi Magistrates Court today charged with allegedly facilitating the export of close to $1.5 million of cocaine to Australia.

This major drug bust was the outcome of the close collaboration between the Fiji Police Force, Australian Federal Police and the Australian Border Authorities.

Police say the four were arrested by a team from the Criminal Investigations Department last week.

They are aged between 21 to 52 years and are alleged to have facilitated the export of more than 30 parcels of cocaine weighing close to 40kg between December 2018 to October 2019.
