30 children from the Hanisi Mission Assembly of God Sunday School ministry used their time out from school to be part of the church's preparation for Palm Sunday.
Worrying about how to cater for the needs of the 30 children was one of the challenges faced by Sunday School teacher Selina Sauriroa.
While sharing her story of how she prepared the children for Palm Sunday, Sauriroa says they were worried about the food, the menu and the rent fees during the camp, but they had their faith in God.
She says the children witnessed first-hand the generous and mighty hand of God, and he provided for them.
Sauriroa says their lunch for today is also provided as they learned in camp to never stop praising God.
The Sunday School children were all dressed in white today and also holding palm leaves representing the palm branches that the crowd scattered before Christ as he rode into Jerusalem.
The children were also in a joyous mood as they performed gospel dances to the members of the church.
Also, other churches around Fiji are celebrating Palm Sunday, with some churches giving the pulpit to the children.
