Three men were arrested yesterday for being in possession of illicit drugs, in Lautoka and Suva.

The Police K-9 Unit stopped a vehicle along Waiyavi, Lautoka and searched a 26-year-old mechanic of Sabeto Central and a 32-year-old man of Duna Place in Nadi Town.

Police says after a brief search by the K-9 Unit, two clear plastics containing white substance believed to be methamphetamine were found.

They say a Public Service Vehicle driver of Cunningham was arrested after he was found with some seedlings believed to be marijuana.

A team from the Fiji Dog Detector Unit and the Police K-9 Unit conducted a drug raid at the man's home yesterday and found seedlings believed to be marijuana.

All three men are in Police custody as investigation continues.
