A villager of Lepanoni village receives Free medical treatment from Doctors of Sai Prema Foundation Fiji’s Health on Wheels medical camp

270 Villagers of Lepanoni Village in Deuba received Free medical treatment from 50 health professionals, doctors, professionals.

Sai Prema Foundation Fiji’s Health on Wheels medical camp supported by Bula Medical Support was conducted in Lepanoni village in Deuba last Saturday.

Health on Wheels coordinator Namrata Tappoo, says some of the many services that were given to the villagers of Lepanoni included, Health Screening by volunteers from Diabetes Fiji, Medical Laboratory, Dental consultations and procedures by volunteer Dentists, Heart screening for Children (using HD Steth), Eye screening & dispensation of reading glasses by Navua Hospital Eye nurse, Obstetrics and Gynecology services provided by Oxfam Women’s Wellness Centre, FREE medications dispensed by volunteer pharmacists and pharmacy students from Fiji National University e.t.c.

Sai Prema Foundation Fiji has been conducting ‘Health on Wheels’ Free medical camps in conjunction with the Ministry of Health for the past 3 years with over 5,000 patients crucially being benefited from this project.
