2 players test positive for drug use in VPL

2 players tested positive for drug use in the Vodafone Premier League over the weekend.

This has been confirmed by Fiji FA CEO Mohammed Yusuf who says that a total of 18 drug tests were conducted during the latest round of the VPL.

Yusuf says they are currently in the process of communicating with the players and their respective clubs regarding what actions will be taken against them.

Meanwhile in this week’s matches, Navua will host Ba at 5pm on Saturday while Labasa will face Nasinu at 1.30pm at Surail Park, Rewa will play Nadi at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park and Suva will take on Lautoka at the ANZ Stadium on Sunday.
