16 changes made to Flying Fijians lineup, Uluinakauvadra set to make debut

Fiji Water Flying Fijians coach Mick Byrne has made a total of 16 changes to his match day 23 squad that will take on Spain this weekend with former Fiji under 20 rep and current Northland backrower Saimoni Uluinakauvadra set to make his international debut.

Uluinakauvadra has been named to start at number 7, replacing Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flanker Kitione Salawa, who was in top form against Wales last weekend.

Eroni Mawi, Sam Matavesi and Luke Tagi are in the front row, Mesake Vocevoce will partner Ratu Leone Rotuisolia at locks, Vilive Miramira and Uluinakauvadra will be at the flanks and Albert Tuisue to start at number 8.

Simione Kuruvoli comes in for Frank Lomani and will start at halfback, Caleb Muntz retains his spot at flyhalf, Ponipate Loganimasi and Jiuta Wainiqolo will be on the wings, captain Waisea Nayacalevu will partner Sireli Maqala at centres and Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula will be at fullback.

In the reserves, Mesulame Dolokoto, Haereiti Hetet, Jone Koroiduadua, Temo Mayanavanua and Elia Canakaivata will cover the forwards while Peni Matawalu, Vilimoni Botitu and Inia Tabuavou will be covering the backs.

The Flying Fijians will take on Spain at 2am this Sunday in Valladolid, Spain.
