15 SCC workers sent home
There are revelations that 15 Suva City Council (SCC) workers have been sent home pending investigation.

A source told Fijivillage that the 15 comprise of workers from the Engineering, Business License Section, Parking Meter Section, Town and Planning and Enforcement Section, all of which have been sent home yesterday.

The source revealed that they were shown a letter yesterday which had the directive for them to be sent home pending investigations however, the source refused to reveal where the letter came from and what the letter contained.

According to the source a meeting is expected to be held on Monday.
 
The Suva-Lami Special Administrator Marica Hallacy said she cannot comment on the matter at this stage.
