145 boarding students of Ratu Kadavulevu School that were affected by the fire have been sent home, and teachers will continue with the photocopying of these students’ curriculum.

Permanent Secretary for Education Timoci Bure confirmed this to fijivillage News and says classes will resume as normal today for those that were not affected.

He adds the school is going to be flexible with school uniforms as students affected will be allowed to wear coloured clothes to school.

The National Fire Authority is yet to confirm the cause of the fire as investigations are still underway.
