Thirteen students from a school in Naitasiri are currently receiving treatment at the Vunidawa Hospital following an accident in Navuniasi in Naitasiri after 7am today.
The students were travelling in a carrier on their way to school when the incident occurred.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu says the driver had allegedly lost control, causing the vehicle to veer off the road.
Police officers are still at the scene as investigations continue.
