Eleven Polynesian players have been selected in the 2020 NFL draft.

The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame wrote on its Instagram account that Polynesians represent 5.4% of the top 204 players selected in the 2020 draft despite being only 0.3 % of the U.S. population.

The Buffalo Bills selected Iowa defensive end, AJ Epenesa, part-Samoan defensive back Julian Blackmon was taken by the Colts, Devin Asiasi and Cassh Maluiawas were drafted by the New England Patriots.

Former rugby union player Leki Fotu was selected by the Arizona Cardinals, Keith Ismael was taken by the Washington Redskins, Bradlee Anae was selected by the Dallas Cowboys and Netane Muti was taken by the Denver Broncos.

Alohi Gilman was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers and John Penisini was picked by the Detroit Lions.
