An active trough of low pressure associated with clouds and rain remains slow moving over Fiji and is expected to affect the group until Monday.

The Nadi Weather Office says a Flood Warning remains for flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Ba, Nasivi (Tavua) Nakauvadra (Rakiraki) and Nadi rivers while a Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for the whole of Fiji.

A Flood Alert remains in place for flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of all major rivers in Fiji

A Flash Flood Warning also remains in force for all low-lying, flash flood prone areas and small streams of Fiji.

The Weather Office says this may cause major flooding of low lying areas, drainage, properties, small streams, Irish crossings and businesses.
