Police conducted raids in all parts of the country, and a 39 man from the western division was arrested after he was found with dried leaves and seeds believed to be marijuana.

Police say a subsequent search on his farm led to the discovery of plants and potted plants, all believed to be marijuana.

They say they conducted another raid at Lautoka, and arrests were made.

In the Eastern Division, Police say plants believed to be marijuana were found on a farm in Nabulini, and efforts are underway to identify the owner of the farm.

Police also arrested people in Korovou and Levuka due to unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

Police say a raid was conducted at the house of a 26-year-old woman in Wailoaloa Nadi, which led to the discovery of several parcels of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

Four men were also arrested at Kalokalo Crescent as dried leaves believed to be marijuana were packed in several sachets and were found in a zip-lock bag.

The substances were discovered by K9 Herb in a makeshift shed outside the suspect's home, concealed in an old couch with more than $1000 cash seized.
