Police Constable Kaminieli Laliqavoka has been proudly promoted to the rank of Corporal by Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu, in recognition of his unwavering dedication and commitment to duty.

Laliqavoka is a familiar face to people who travel along the Suva-Nausori corridor, often seen during peak hours, directing drivers diligently with professionalism and care.

His promotion highlights the value placed on the often unnoticed but essential duties carried out by officers.

Many people have praised him for his consistent presence and dedication to service.

The Police Commissioner says Corporal Laliqavoka’s dedication to service epitomises his intent of getting the basics of policing right which will assist in regaining the trust and confidence of the people.

Tudravu says this promotion is their way of saying thank you to dedication and loyalty as people take note of the little things that officers do in line of their work.

The Commissioner’s intent is to restore public trust in the organization by getting back to the basics of policing.

He adds that he values every member in the Force, as they diligently conduct their work out in the five policing divisions.
