The man who is under investigation for alleged political cyber crime has been cautioned and released in Suva however Police have confirmed that he has now been taken in for questioning for allegedly raping a 13 year old girl.
Namaka Police took him in for questioning yesterday afternoon for this separate case.
Police Commissioner, Sitiveni Qiliho had earlier confirmed that the man was questioned by CID officers, and he was taken in before Police conducted searches at the offices of the National Federation Party and the suspended SODELPA on Tuesday night.
That investigation is in relation to alleged cyber crime involving fake news posted on coordinated facebook pages like Fiji Exposed Forum.
