The Fiji Men’s Hockey side secured their first-ever win at the Hockey 5s World Cup in Oman last night after beating Jamaica 4-2 in their 15th - 16th place playoff.

The win has also placed them as the 15th-ranked team in the world.

Team captain Terence Corrie says the win is unreal and amazing and has dedicated it to all the fans and the supporters.

Corrie who also had announced his retirement from the sport after the tournament says this is a great send-off for him.

The team also performed a cibi or traditional war dance for Corrie after the game to thank him for his 19 years of representing Fiji.
