 Drua Men move up to 8th place after victory over the Waratahs

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua have moved up two spots to 8th place in the overall Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific points table after their 39-36 win over the Waratahs in Lautoka over the weekend.

After 5 rounds of the competition, the Drua now sit with 9 points after 2 wins at home.

The unbeaten Hurricanes lead the points table with 22 points followed by the Chiefs with 18 points and the Brumbies are in 3rd place with 18 points as well.

Defending champions the Crusaders fell to their 5th consecutive defeat over the weekend and currently sit at the bottom of the table with 2 points.

Meanwhile, the Drua will host their second double header this Saturday in Lautoka when the Drua Men and Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women take on the Western Force Men’s and Women’s teams respectively.

The Drua Men will play the Western Force at 1.05pm and the Drua Women will take on the Western Force at 3.35pm.

In other matches this week, the Crusaders will take on the Chiefs at 6.05pm Friday, the Waratahs will host the Rebels at 8.35pm Friday, Moana Pasifika will take on the Blues at 3.35pm Saturday, the Highlanders will play the Hurricanes at 6.05pm Saturday and the Reds will take on the Brumbies at 8.35pm Saturday.
