Ahead of their Super Rugby Aoetearoa clash Beauden Barrett has reminded younger brother Jordie how he used to make him cry in their backyard games.
The pair will square off against each other for the first time at this level at Eden Park next week when Beauden makes his Blues debut against his old Hurricanes team where Jordie still plays.
Middle brother Scott’s presence at the Crusaders has already meant some sibling rivalry but Beauden and Jordie are heading into new territory.
Beauden, was quick to remind Jordie, how things unfolded during their Taranaki farm upbringing when he appeared on The Breakdown show on Sky Sports.
Beauden laughed that Jordie is a big boy now – it's been a while since he used to make him cry at home in the backyard.

Beauden has been on an extended sabbatical since last year’s Rugby World Cup in Japan.
He reckons he doesn’t have too much inside information on his old Hurricanes in an era where analysis is king.
The Highlanders will take on the Chiefs in the first match of the revised competition at 5.05pm next Saturday while the Hurricanes will face the Blues at 3.05pm Sunday.
