Musician Winston Saxton Rose, who performed as a saxophonist with iconic British reggae band UB40, has passed away.
In a tribute shared by his former bandmates, they describe Rose as more than just a bandmate, saying he was a dear friend and family to them.
They say Rose brought a calm and humble energy wherever he went, while his saxophone gave their performances their soul.
The band says Rose performed with them from 2008 to 2019, becoming an important part of their sound and leaving behind lasting memories.
They say they will carry his memory with them always, and know that his fans will remember him too.
