Resident raises concerns over drinking and vandalism at Samabula church

A 24-year-old resident is raising concerns over repeated incidents of drinking, vandalism and damage at the Central Revival Centre church, located in Komo Park, Samabula.

Speaking to fijivillage News, he says groups of young people gather at the church premises and consume alcohol, despite such activities being prohibited in the area.

He says water pipes at the church are frequently damaged as well, and church members later have to repair them.

The 24-year-old also says trees have been cut down and systems at the back of the church have been damaged.

He is calling on authorities and relevant stakeholders to take action.

He says the last report was lodged six months ago, however, no action was taken.
