Vantex Solutions Navua FC are one step away from securing a place in the semi-finals of the FMF Inter-District Championship in the Super Premier Division.
Navua are currently on four points after two pool matches and need only a draw against Khelvin Realtors Lautoka FC at 1.30pm today to book their place in the last four.
Navua started their campaign with a convincing 3-nil win over Nadi before showing great fighting spirit to come from two goals down and draw 2-all with Ba in their second match.
Lautoka, meanwhile, are on three points and know that a win will take them to six points and guarantee their place in the semi-finals.
Dayals Steel Ba FC are also on four points and a win or draw against Pacific Heavy Industries Nadi FC at 5.30pm will secure their place in the semi-finals.
Nadi have lost their opening two matches and are out of the semi-final race.
Defending champions Stratum/Lincoln Rewa FC have already secured their place in the last four after winning both their Pool A matches and collecting six points.
Rewa opened their campaign with a 5-nil win over Nasinu FC before defeating Extra Supermarket Labasa FC 3-nil last night.
Labasa are on three points and a win over Nasinu at 3.30pm will guarantee their place in the semi-finals.
Nasinu, who are on one point, need a win to keep their semi-final hopes alive, while Kells Investment/Global Care Suva FC, also on one point, face a must-win match against Rewa at 7.30pm.
The remaining semi-final places will be decided in today’s final round of pool matches at the HFC Bank Stadium.
The semi-finals will be played on Saturday, with the final scheduled for Sunday.
