Police are still searching for the bodies of two teenage brothers who drowned at Vuda Point in Lautoka yesterday.

They have confirmed that the Water Police Team and about 20 other officers continued the search into last night and this morning and are still at the scene.

Police had earlier confirmed the brothers were playing with their friends when the incident occurred.

The brothers are aged 17 and 18 years old.

Police say it is alleged that the 18-year-old brother was trying to get the ball from the water and when he struggled to surface, the 17-year-old came for his assistance where both of them are believed to have drowned.
