Fiji TV is also obliged to work with Digicel to provide certain services in the interim period as they have a lot of TV rights,  studio services and outside broadcast services.

Digicel Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Darren McLean says as part of this, Digicel will make its portfolio of exclusive pay TV broadcast rights such as Super Rugby, Super League, NRL 9s as well as movies and quality entertainment programming available to Sky Pacific customers.

Fareed says they now have a strong relationship with Digicel.

About 45 employees of Sky Pacific will be transferred to Digicel within the next few weeks.

McLean says the skilled staff would be needed by Digicel.
