Boginisoko earned his maiden call-up to the Fiji Airways Fiji Men’s 7s squad for the Singapore and Perth tournaments and made his international debut in Singapore.
He went on to play a key role in Fiji’s campaign throughout the HSBC SVNS Series, continuing to impress with his athleticism and consistency.
With maternal links to Nadroga, Boginisoko expressed his excitement about joining the Drua.
Boginisoko says he was excited when he got the call to sign his contract with the Drua, and is grateful to the management for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to be part of the team for next season.
Boginisoko first made headlines as a standout performer for Dominion Brothers, earning the Under-21 Player of the Tournament award at the Marist 7s and cementing his reputation as one of Fiji’s brightest rugby prospects.
His signing further highlights the strong pathway from local competitions to professional rugby for Fiji’s homegrown talent.
Fijian Drua General Manager Rugby Baden Stephenson, welcomed the addition of the talented outside back.
He says Boginosoko is an exciting talent who has earned this opportunity through his performances and work ethic and has shown tremendous growth over the past few seasons, progressing from local competitions to representing Fiji on the international sevens stage.
