Marist Old Boys encouraged to prioritise health and wellbeing
The rise in Non-Communicable Diseases in Fiji has led the Marist Old Boys to conduct Wellness Wednesday encouraged to keep MOB health and wellbeing a priority.
While speaking to fijivillage News, MOB Secretary, Faizal Khan, a fitness Guru and former Suva Indo-Fijian rugby team captain, saysthe Wellness programme provides an opportunity for Marist Old Boys to spend an hour each week focusing on fitness, connection and overall wellbeing.

He says the programme focuses on three key areas Fitness and Movement, Brotherhood and Connection, and Wellness Conversations.

Khan says the initiative is not only about physical activity, but also about creating a space where Old Boys can reconnect, support one another and have meaningful conversations about their wellbeing.

He says there is no participation fee, thanks to the generosity of the Marist Brothers’ Athletics Club however, a donation bucket will be available at the training venue for those who wish to contribute.

He says the sessions will be held tommorow from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Marist Brothers High School tracks, with activities designed to cater for participants of all ages and fitness levels.
