Fiji now has eleven political parties that will contest the 2026 general elections, following the approval of the Liberation of Fiji Party by the Registrar of Political Parties, Ana Mataiciwa.
The Fijian Elections Office says the Registrar confirms that the Liberation of Fiji Party has met all legal requirements for registration under the Act.
The FEO says the party resubmitted its application on 20th July, after its initial application was not approved on 3rd July.
The Office says the party is required to comply with all statutory obligations applicable to newly registered political parties, including the submission of relevant declarations and disclosures within the prescribed timelines.
The party is led by Manoa and Veronica Malani.
